Oriental Bonito

These things really scream line off the reel when they hit. They mix in with our regular bonito (little tunny) but hit and pull a lot harder. They look and act like a cross between Bonito & Wahoo. They have white meat and teeth. And like everything with fins and swims in the ocean, good to eat.

Bonito are often mistaken for Skipjack tuna. However, bonito are brighter in color and it has black stripes that appear alongside its body. There are different types of bonito. These include:
