Exclusive Panama Fishing Lodge
Welcome to the only fishing lodge in close proximity to
Coiba National Park and Hannibal Bank.
Experience Coiba Adventure
Coiba Adventure’s humble fishing lodge places you right where the action is—on a remote island in Bahia Honda, home to a small community of about 200 people who rely on subsistence fishing. This island is cut off from modern society, allowing local youths to enjoy freediving and fishing from dugout canoes, catching lobsters, conch, clams, and small fish to sell to residents and visitors alike.
Our four-bedroom guest lodge sits at the water’s edge, overlooking the dock and our Bertram boat. This is the ideal spot for those whose primary focus is fishing during their vacation. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with comfortable king- and queen-size beds. However, you might find yourself spending little time in your room our fishing days start early, with a 6:00 AM departure just before dawn, and we usually return around 6:30 PM, just before sunset. Here, the emphasis is on fishing in Panama, not luxury accommodations.
Personalized Experience
We pride ourselves on offering a personalized experience by hosting only one party at a time.
The food at our lodge is exceptional, featuring fresh, local ingredients. Dinner highlights include our catches, along with conch, lobster, clams, and plate-sized snappers. Breakfasts are American-style, while lunch typically consists of hearty, homestyle dishes like meat, potatoes, vegetables, and healthy snacks.
Enjoy drinks from our well-stocked open bar. If you have a specific bottle in mind, let us know, and we’ll do our best to procure it for you. We also provide beer, soft drinks, and bottled water on board.
Prime Fishing Location
The key highlight of our lodge is the unparalleled Black Marlin fishing available nearby, along with our prime location adjacent to Coiba National Park. Here, you’ll find some of the biggest and most plentiful fish in Central America. Without these exceptional islands, Captain Tom wouldn’t have made Panama his home.
To kick off your day, hot coffee will be waiting outside your door at 4:30 AM. Get ready to leave the dock at dawn!
